CHELSEA: Chelsea's Michael Essien has signed a new five-year deal - following keeper Petr Cech and defender Wayne Bridge in committing his future to the club. (Until 2013)
MICHAEL ESSIEN:
“I am very happy here. We have a great team and fantastic fans who have always made me welcome.
"With the addition of the new manager Luiz Felipe Scolari, I am feeling very positive about the season ahead."
SCOLARI DECLARATION:
"I have not been here long but it is clear to me that Michael Essien is one of the best midfield players in the world,"
"I have always admired him and it is good news for me and for Chelsea that he signs for so long."
I think MIKAEL is the wiser player, he knows what he can achieve and the value of CHELSEA.
WIGAN: Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of Egypt international Amr Zaki on a one-year loan deal.
ZAKI:
"I've come to England to score goals. That's what I do.
"I want to show the manager and the fans that they have made a good choice and now I am totally focused on trying to get in the squad and prove myself."
It is the chance for ZAKI to prove him self and to show that he is the player of the year in his country this year, good luck ZAKI.

ZAKI a dit : « je suis venu en Angleterre pour marquer des buts. C’est ce que je fais.

BANITEZ has insisted that BENAYOUN and KUYT will remain in the club at least this season.
Aston Villa sign Nicky Shorey and agree a fee with Middlesbrough for Luke Young, while Andy Johnson joins Fulham.
Fulham have completed the signing of striker Andy Johnson from Everton for an initial fee of around £10.5million.
CHELSEA has made an £19.7m offer to REAL MADRID to sign ROBINHOE if this contract happens it will be the highest signing this summer for the blues.

JIBRIL CISSE decided to go back to the Premier League.
It will be SUNDERLAND for the French player who is already motivated:
It's a new test. (Sunderland) are a team we think are small but they are looking to progress," said Cisse.
"They have given me a lot of scope to have a good season. One thing is for sure - there is a lot of potential."
The black cats boss (Keane) has already signed Tottenham trio Teemu Tainio, Steed Malbranque and Pascal Chimbonda as well as El Hadji Diouf this summer.
